Terms & Conditions
Eio Dago: Terms & Conditions
By booking an expedition with Eio Dago, you (the "Client") agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms govern the relationship between Eio Dago ("the Company," "we," "us") and the Client.
1. Booking and Confirmation
-
Bookings are provisional until confirmed by Eio Dago.
-
No immediate payment is required to submit an inquiry; however, a booking is only considered guaranteed once payment or a deposit has been processed via our secure payment network.
2. Cancellation & Refund Policy
We understand that plans can change. To balance flexibility with our commitment to our Highland partners, we apply the following policy:
-
48-Hour Grace Period: Clients may cancel their booking for any reason within 48 hours of the initial booking timestamp to receive a refund.
-
Cancellation Fee: All refunds issued within this 48-hour window are subject to a 20% Administrative & Banking Fee. This covers non-refundable transaction costs and administrative labor.
-
No Refunds After 48 Hours: Once the 48-hour window has passed, all bookings are final and non-refundable. At this stage, Eio Dago has committed to non-refundable costs for vehicles, lodges, and specialized staff.
-
Method of Refund: All refunds will be processed back to the original payment method used (via DPO Pay) within 5–10 business days.
3. Changes to Itinerary
-
Eio Dago reserves the right to alter routes, accommodation, or timing due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather conditions, road closures, or safety concerns. We will always strive to provide an alternative of equal or higher value.
4. Force Majeure
-
Eio Dago shall not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations where such failure is as a result of Acts of Nature (including fire, flood, earthquake, storm, or other natural disasters), war, protest, lockdown, or government interference. In such cases, Eio Dago will attempt to reschedule the tour or provide a credit voucher for future use.
5. Limitation of Liability & Indemnity
-
Personal Risk: The Client acknowledges that travel in Namibia and the Highlands involves inherent risks. Eio Dago and its guides shall not be held liable for any injury, loss, death, or damage to personal property, however caused.
-
Insurance: It is a mandatory condition of travel that all Clients possess comprehensive travel insurance covering medical emergencies, personal accidents, and trip cancellations.
6. Client Conduct & Safety
-
The decision of the Eio Dago guide is final on all matters involving safety and group well-being.
-
We reserve the right to terminate the tour of any Client whose behavior is deemed illegal, dangerous, or a distress to others, without any obligation for a refund.
